Bath Time with Mj

So as you can see it's BATH TIME! I sure do loveeeee my baths. I don't have time for many. God that sounds dirty. I have showers daily I promise, but I try to make time for a luxury bath at least twice a week! So I can relax and use one of my many treats from Lush.

I must also note that I did not go out and buy all of these together! This is a small collection I've built up in June.

So here is one of the fairly new bath bombs in Lush called 'Sex Bomb' priced at £3.20, the bomb is huge. The bath bomb is full of lovely ingredients such as Jasmine, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang and Soya Milk.

Next is the 'Dorothy' Bubble Bar, decorated with a pretty rainbow on top. It leaves the bath a pretty blue colour and smells divine. It's a really fun treat at just £2.99, also allowing many uses as you crumble a small section into running water.

Here is the 'Rose Queen'. Now I don't usually like the smell of roses, but this bath bomb isn't too strong or overpowering. It is packed with natural ingredients such as Rose Absolute, Cistus Oil, Tiger Lily Petals, Amaranth flowers, Apple Blossom and Larkspur Petals.

Now this is my favourite bath bomb!! It's the 'Butter Ball' priced at only £2.45 each. Now this bomb as Cocoa butter and Ylang Ylang oil leaving your skin silky smooth and smelling beautifully! But it's yummy vanilla fragrance that sells it for me!!

This is the 'Creamy Candy' Bubble bar which is priced at £2.50 and has multiple uses! You crumble a small section of this and hold it under running water, it turns the water pink and gives off a similar smell to the 'Rock Star Soap' another favourite that I have previously posted about. The Bath bomb is packed with Almond Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Cocoa Butter and Cream of Tartar.

Here is the next bath bomb called 'Think Pink' priced at £2.50. I love the three flowers on top, really pretty colours! When I put this into the bath, it turned the bath pink and smelt gorgeous but it also contained small pink hearts that floated in the bath! They were soo cute and such a sweet touch!

This is 'Space Girl' priced at £2.10. The bath bomb is covered in pink and silver glitter, as you can see in the picture. This floats around the bath making it soo pretty! Inside this bath bomb there is space dust, also known as popping candy, which I must say gave me a fright as I entered my bath! It also contains Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil and Almond Oil, making it extra yummy!

Last but not least is the 'You've been Mangoed' luxury bath melt. Now this item was priced at £3.10 but again it can be divided to provide you with three luxury mangoed baths! It contains Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Avocado Butter, Mango Butter, Lemon Oil and Lime Oil. Sooo many Oil's, that as you can guess leave your skin nourished and feeling silky smooth!

I absolutely love popping into Lush and seeing their new products! Have you tried any of these bath products from Lush?

Sanctuary Goodies...

I ordered these 3 scrumptious products online at Sanctuary last week as there was a great 3 for 2 offer on selected products. I choose the Sanctuary Hand Cream, Body Scrub and Body Butter from the Travel & Trial section.

So this is the Sanctuary Body Scrub.

I bought the 50ml travel Body Scrub for £2.00. It is described as 'A gentle, polishing gel body scrub that can be used daily to rejuvenate, refine and smooth skin. Fragrant patchouli, orange oil and natural pumice work together to leave skin awakened, invigorated and sublimely soft with a natural glow.'
While running myself a bath last night, I propped this on the side for its 'testing'! I massaged the scrub in circular motions on my damp skin and rinsed. This left my skin feeling brand new and soft with a gorgeous sanctuary signature scent! I suffer with patches of dry skin on my arms, so I would use this once or twice a week to smoothen my dry patches. It definitely helped by removing the dry skin, making it soft and smooth!

It then advised me to either use the Body Butter or Body Lotion.

My next purchase was the Body Butter. It's described as 'decadently rich body butter is an intensive skin booster crammed with nourishing cocoa butter and creamy shea butter. Super moisturising for instant results, this luxurious cream is laced with sweet almond oil, smoothing macadamia oil and protective vitamin E for all over pampering.'

After coming out of the bath and drying off, I applied a generous amount of the body butter and massaged it into my body. I also ensured that my dry skin patches, elbows, knees and heels had a second serving! I really enjoyed using this product, the reviews state that it helps clear dry skin! So I'm looking forward to seeing some results over the next few weeks.

I've been looking for a nice hand cream for a while, so when I seen this small 30ml tube for only £3.25!  I had to get it!

The Hand Cream is described as 'A whisper-light, non-greasy hand cream with conditioning shea butter and sweet almond oil will help restore moisture to the skin and give immediate comfort to dry hands. Your hands will be left feeling soft and smooth whilst delicately fragranced.'

I use this cream throughout the day, to soften and moisturise my hands that actually work quite a lot in school and while working at the gym. The cream is highly absorbent and leaves that gorgeous sanctuary signature scent! I'm really enjoyed this product and I find the tube clean and easy to use. However, I am on the hunt for some other Hand creams! So please leave any suggestions below!

The L'occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream and the Cherry Blossom Hand Cream look very apertising!

Literally Lush!

So on Wednesday, I went up to Bristol to have an interview for university for a Journalism course. I didn't like the university at all... although the course looked really good!! So I'm in a little bit of a dilemma at the moment. Cardiff or Bristol -.-
So after I had my interview(Which went okay!!), I popped into Cribs Causeway shopping centre.

So as you can see, I visited Lush!

Now when ever I see a Lush shop, I go in, have a look, love the smells and then walk out empty handed. Why? I really don't know. But this time I came out with a gorgeous little paper bag. I LOVE paper-bags.

So what was in my little paper bag?
Look how yummy the packaging is. It's so colourful and pretty.

So firstly I bought the 'Rock Star' soap. This retails for £3.25 per 100g.

The soap is divine. Firstly the colour, wow what a gorgeous pink. The smell is perfect for a girly girl with a beautiful scent of candy! Yum! Now I'm not a girly girl myself, but on certain days I feel like a nice pamper night, also known as my girly night. So this is the perfect soap to chill out, relax, smell of sweet creamy candy and feel ever so girly and pretty.

After using this soap, I found that it didn't lather very well. Which i didn't really expect it to, Although it left my skin moisturised and candy scented for the whole day. Also, the Rock Star scent floated through my bathroom for a few hours which was great.

So secondly I bought the 'Hottie Massage Bar', which cost me £5.25 for a 90g bar.

Now as I work in a gym and my boyfriend plays a lot of rugby, we really enjoy giving each other massages with some of my moisturisers and oils after a hard training session. So when I seen this moisturising massage bar, I thought yes, finally. Someone has finally produced a moisturiser in a solid form so that it not only massages and work into the muscles, it also moisturises and leaves you smelling gorgeous.

The massage bar has a flat side to run over the skin and dissolve the butters, while the other side is moulded into lumps and bumps to knead and rub aching muscles. The bar is made out of Ginger Oil, Black pepper Oil, Jojoba, Cocoa Butter and Ginger.

My boyfriend really enjoyed this product, mainly because he hates sticky, wet moisturisers. So this was perfect, as it was a butter that dried fairly quickly but still left the skin glowing and moisturised. The fact that you could go from a nice smooth sensation with the flat end of the bar, so an intense massage with the other side, was great. This bar is great for anyone who loves massages and who sometimes needs to release the tension in their muscles.

. . .

Both of these products, I would recommend. Although as it was my first time using them, I can now see why you would need to purchase a 'massage bar tin' and a 'soap tin', so that you can keep the products in tack so that they will last longer.

Have you used these products? What do you think of them? Do you recommend any certain products for my next trip to Lush?

Thanks

MJ
