Bronze beauty

So heres the 'Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24Hr eyeshadow' in 'and on Bronze' , which I am sure that you've all heard lots about! I bought this for £4.99 from Boots a few weeks back. Now I love this eyeshadow range, But I would love to see more colours available, as there were only six to choose from. The 'Eternal Gold' would be another one I'd advise to take a look at!

*3 for 2 on Maybelline products in Boots at the moment*

I was looking for a quick and easy eye product so suit my skin tone and hair colour. I have long light brown hair with tanned skin. I love the bronze goddess look. Not that I'm a goddess, But still! I really don't get on with eyeshadows, I find it makes me look over done and too much! But this gives a nice natural bronze glow!

So here you can see that the bronze eyeshadow also has a nice shimmer to it, which also highlights and illuminates! The eyeshadow is really creamy and easy to apply. I've used this to cover my whole lid for just a quick and easy look, but I've also used it as a cream base to apply powder eyeshadow on top, creating a bronze smoky eye. Either look usually lasts all day, however with this gorgeous weather, I've found that the cream eyeshadow alone slowly comes off throughout the day.

I really love this product and its definitely my new 'Go to' eye product.
Have you tried any of the Colour Tattoo eyeshadows? What did you think?

New Found Love!

Last month, I decided to take a few photos of some products from my monthly magazines, Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Marie Claire, to create a picture wish list. The Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Tinted Moisturising Day Cream was one of them!

I was looking for a tinted moisturiser ready for my holiday to Egypt. I wanted a bronze colour, not much coverage and a nice summer glow. So I set out on my hunt to find a good tinted moisturiser but at a reasonable price.

I purchased the Nivea Tinted Moistuirser from Boots at only £3.66! Which I believe is ridiculously cheap! However, I bought it with little expectations mainly due to the price. But did Nivea surprise me!

*Theres also a 2 for £4 offer at boots on all Nivea Visage Facial Skin Care at the moment*

'Nivea Visage Tinted Moisturising Day Cream is a light daily moisturising formula that both hydrates intensively and enhances your natural skin tone'

  • Enriched with Hydramine and Vitamin E it provides the skin with essential caring elements and intensive moisture – 24 hours long.
  • A special combination of light reflecting and colour pigments and colour pigments blend with your natural skin tone to brighten your complexion and to blur skin imperfections.
  • The special Nivea Visage UVA / UVB protection in combination with Vitamin E helps protect the skin from environmental influences that result in premature skin ageing.

Now I agree with mostly everything that Nivea states that the product does. It does enhance my natural skin tone, while highlighting certain areas of my face with the light reflecting pigments. It leaves my skin hydrated and refreshed, and is a light creamy formula that ultimately feels like I have little if anything applied to my face.

The only downfall to this product, is the fact that it only comes in one shade. Luckily it suits my skin tone. However, if you are quite pale, I believe it could leave you looking cakey and orange. The product is easily blend-able with it's light creamy formula, so I do believe if you blend well with the right tools you could create the perfect coverage for any skin tone.

Personally, this is my 'New Found Love'. I've replaced my foundation and I'm currently using this all over my face, then adding a touch of contour and highlight from the sleek contour palette. I then use a blush, curl my lashes, fill in my eyebrows and apply my favourite mascara L'oreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara and I'm good to go!

Have you tried this product? Have you got any recommendations for any other fabulous tinted moisturisers?

Bath Time with Mj

So as you can see it's BATH TIME! I sure do loveeeee my baths. I don't have time for many. God that sounds dirty. I have showers daily I promise, but I try to make time for a luxury bath at least twice a week! So I can relax and use one of my many treats from Lush.

I must also note that I did not go out and buy all of these together! This is a small collection I've built up in June.

So here is one of the fairly new bath bombs in Lush called 'Sex Bomb' priced at £3.20, the bomb is huge. The bath bomb is full of lovely ingredients such as Jasmine, Clary Sage, Ylang Ylang and Soya Milk.

Next is the 'Dorothy' Bubble Bar, decorated with a pretty rainbow on top. It leaves the bath a pretty blue colour and smells divine. It's a really fun treat at just £2.99, also allowing many uses as you crumble a small section into running water.

Here is the 'Rose Queen'. Now I don't usually like the smell of roses, but this bath bomb isn't too strong or overpowering. It is packed with natural ingredients such as Rose Absolute, Cistus Oil, Tiger Lily Petals, Amaranth flowers, Apple Blossom and Larkspur Petals.

Now this is my favourite bath bomb!! It's the 'Butter Ball' priced at only £2.45 each. Now this bomb as Cocoa butter and Ylang Ylang oil leaving your skin silky smooth and smelling beautifully! But it's yummy vanilla fragrance that sells it for me!!

This is the 'Creamy Candy' Bubble bar which is priced at £2.50 and has multiple uses! You crumble a small section of this and hold it under running water, it turns the water pink and gives off a similar smell to the 'Rock Star Soap' another favourite that I have previously posted about. The Bath bomb is packed with Almond Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Cocoa Butter and Cream of Tartar.

Here is the next bath bomb called 'Think Pink' priced at £2.50. I love the three flowers on top, really pretty colours! When I put this into the bath, it turned the bath pink and smelt gorgeous but it also contained small pink hearts that floated in the bath! They were soo cute and such a sweet touch!

This is 'Space Girl' priced at £2.10. The bath bomb is covered in pink and silver glitter, as you can see in the picture. This floats around the bath making it soo pretty! Inside this bath bomb there is space dust, also known as popping candy, which I must say gave me a fright as I entered my bath! It also contains Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil and Almond Oil, making it extra yummy!

Last but not least is the 'You've been Mangoed' luxury bath melt. Now this item was priced at £3.10 but again it can be divided to provide you with three luxury mangoed baths! It contains Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Avocado Butter, Mango Butter, Lemon Oil and Lime Oil. Sooo many Oil's, that as you can guess leave your skin nourished and feeling silky smooth!

I absolutely love popping into Lush and seeing their new products! Have you tried any of these bath products from Lush?

I Love Zara

So I'm back from Egypt and I seriously need to get my act together with this blog. One post in June? One big Oooops. Anyway, the show must go on. Even if the show is a little sparse at the moment! Apologies.

So here are my gorgeous black beaded sandals from Zara. I bought these in the sales for £19.99, reduced from £39.99.

Now I absolutely LOVE these sandals. I wore them to death on holidays in Egypt, they simply go with everything! Which reminds me that I need to upload a post of a few outfits that I wore on holiday!

They are simply a T-bar sandal, decorated with tiny black beads with a small heel. Now I cannot find these sandals on the Zara website, however there are still a few pairs left in my nearest store in Cardiff.

So next is the all famous plaited shopper! This has been on my wish list for ages! But at £79.99, it wasn't the type of purchase you just picked up on your weekly shop. So the gorgeous bag kept slowly sliding down my wish list. Until.... my lovely boyfriend bought me this beautiful bag for my 18th birthday in June!

I choose the colour black because I have too many brown leather handbags, and we all know that every girl needs a simple black handbag.

The bag had gold buckles and zips with a two sophisticated plaited leather handle to carry on the arm. Inside there is the option to have a thin black strap to turn the bag into a should bag and a detachable cloth bag to keep all your things.

You can get this bag here!

Have any of you snatched some deals at the Zara sales?
