Uni Wardrobe

Hello hunnies, Just a little update from the last post.
I've added two of my handmade silver bracelets to my shop - here! You can also access it at the top of the page, next to 'contact' and 'home'. It is a dainty, elegant and pretty little silver range containing Shamballa beads, Swarovski crystals and heart pendants with silver and crystal beads.  I'd love for you to go check them out. There will also be many more designs being added over the next week or so, so please keep a look out.

So anyway...
Heres another Uni outfit.

Here we have a cute and casual outfit.
+ Checkered dress - River Island Chelsea girl - Sale £15
+ Black Studded Boots - River Island £60
+ Black Bag - River Island £35
+ Belt - Present from Grandma. She's so stylish!

I love this belt, not only because it's form my Grandma but mainly because it pulls you in at your your waist, defining your curves. The diamontes also draw extra attention to the area, creating that Holly Willoughby hourglass figure that we all desire.

Makeup: I just have some quick and easy makeup for a long day at uni.
+ Tinted Moisturiser - Nivea, review here
+ Loreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara
+ Collection 2000 Concealer

Hair: Literally wash dry and go!

MaryJanett Shop!

Hello lovelies!

Just a quick post to let you all know what i've been up to lately. I've been setting up my online shop - MaryJanett, where I will be selling handmade silver bracelets. These bracelets will feature Shamballa beads, Swarovski Crystal hearts, Silver hearts with both silver and crystal beads. The bracelets are very dainty ranging from 2mm beads to 4mm, so small and sweet. I think they look so delicate and pretty on the wrist and they are great to stack and bunch up! I am really excited to begin this adventure.

If you've read some of my other posts, I will always feature my silver bracelets in every outfit because I literally wear them each and everyday. These bracelets are soo versatile, you could wear them as an everyday bracelet but you could also wear them for a fancy meal or to go out clubbing. They definitely transform you from day to night time with very little help!

So basically, i've added another page to this blog, just above called 'Shop'. After you click this it will take you to my Big Cartel website. There I have featured my first handmade bracelet for you all to take a look at. I cannot wait to share the other designs with you! I will be uploading these in the next week or so. I would really love to hear your feedback as to what you think of the bracelets. I will also be able to customise the bracelet to how you want it, via letters, charms or colour. This will take a little longer, but I'm sure you'd appreciate it!

So go check out the shop and let me know what you think!

Thanks so much.

Love your tootsies.

So up for review today are some Soap & Glory products.

+ Hand Food - Hydrating Hand Cream
+ Heel Genius - Foot Mask
+ Foot Buffer

Yes, these three products are for some pampering ladies. Your poor little feet neeeeed to be looked after. I've only started doing it since I moved to uni... Because I have too much time on my hands.. but however, My feet and hands are so thankful!

So i've just got home from work, 7 hours on my feet. Aaaaa heel genius, I praise you. I slap some of this on, give myself a nice foot massage to absorb the product, then put some slipper socks on. By putting the socks on, it allows the product to really get to work, absorbing into your tired, aching feet. In the morning, wow, smooth is an understatement. However, this product really does just smell of foot cream, nothing special and no signature S&G fragrance. Slightly disappointing.

+++

The Hand Cream has the beautiful S&G signature fragrance. Delish! It contains shea butter, macadamia oil and marshmallow?! What? But seriously, it makes your hands feel hydrates and smooth. I love using this mostly in winter and autumn when my skin tends to get quite dry.

+++

The foot buffer really isn't just like all the other foot buffers. It not only looks sleek but it also has 3 different foot files. I really like this tool, as the head of the file is tilted, so you can get right under your foot without getting into any awkward position.

At the bottom of the foot buffer, there is a smaller file to get to smaller places, paying more attention to specific areas. I love using this after having a bath, as my skin is softer and it can be filed down easier. I also find that it is much less painful. Win Win. Smooth feet. After filing down some hard skin, I'd massage some of the heel genius into my feet and yes you guessed it, some slipper socks. Love.

Hope you enjoyed this review guys and I do hope that you've treated your little tootsies to some pampering!!

Lushhhious soaps.

Yum Yum Yum.

This soap smells exactly like your all time favorite lush product. Yes Snow Fairy. It's a gorgeous deep pink and it looks great on my soap dish.

This is North Pole. Now I think this might have been a limited edition soap for the christmas period.
The soap has a fresh minty scent at the white end and a sweet candy scent from the pink end. Mixing together to create the perfect Candy Cane soap! It's great for one of those dreaded monday mornings, it certainly gives you a minty kick

I've had lots and lots of lush goodies for christmas, as all my friends and family know how much I love their products. Let me know if you'd like to hear about some more of the products I recommend!

It is not a necessity...

So I think it's about time I got back into my blogging and actually give this blog the love and attention it deserves.

I've had a lot of things on my mind lately, that totally wiped my interest in clothes, makeup, hair and skin care! I didn't know where I was going and where I was at. Coming home for christmas was what I really needed. I needed to be with my family and friends. So now I'm back at uni, in my teenie little room, it feels like home this time around. I'm really excited about 2013 and what it has in store for me and I hope to be sharing all those things with you here.

My goals in 2013 are to lose weight. Preferably around 2 stone. But this is not a necessity. My biggest goal is to just be healthy. To exercise and eat nice healthy food. I want to cook more, you know from scratch. Like literally everything from scratch. I want to write more, I'm starting to write in my little leather notebooks at least once a day. I write all my thoughts and feelings down and it helps so much. That poor little book is like a book of my burdens that needed to be shook off my shoulders. I want to blog more. I really want to start a youtube channel. I want to pass my first year at uni. I want to be happy. I want to stay in love

So 2013 is here. Lets do this.
