Uni Wardrobe

Hello hunnies, Just a little update from the last post.
I've added two of my handmade silver bracelets to my shop - here! You can also access it at the top of the page, next to 'contact' and 'home'. It is a dainty, elegant and pretty little silver range containing Shamballa beads, Swarovski crystals and heart pendants with silver and crystal beads.  I'd love for you to go check them out. There will also be many more designs being added over the next week or so, so please keep a look out.

So anyway...
Heres another Uni outfit.

Here we have a cute and casual outfit.
+ Checkered dress - River Island Chelsea girl - Sale £15
+ Black Studded Boots - River Island £60

I love this belt, not only because it's form my Grandma but mainly because it pulls you in at your your waist, defining your curves. The diamontes also draw extra attention to the area, creating that Holly Willoughby hourglass figure that we all desire.

Makeup: I just have some quick and easy makeup for a long day at uni.
+ Tinted Moisturiser - Nivea, review here
+ Loreal Telescopic Waterproof Mascara
+ Collection 2000 Concealer

Hair: Literally wash dry and go!

MaryJanett Shop!

Hello lovelies!

Just a quick post to let you all know what i've been up to lately. I've been setting up my online shop - MaryJanett, where I will be selling handmade silver bracelets. These bracelets will feature Shamballa beads, Swarovski Crystal hearts, Silver hearts with both silver and crystal beads. The bracelets are very dainty ranging from 2mm beads to 4mm, so small and sweet. I think they look so delicate and pretty on the wrist and they are great to stack and bunch up! I am really excited to begin this adventure.

If you've read some of my other posts, I will always feature my silver bracelets in every outfit because I literally wear them each and everyday. These bracelets are soo versatile, you could wear them as an everyday bracelet but you could also wear them for a fancy meal or to go out clubbing. They definitely transform you from day to night time with very little help!

So basically, i've added another page to this blog, just above called 'Shop'. After you click this it will take you to my Big Cartel website. There I have featured my first handmade bracelet for you all to take a look at. I cannot wait to share the other designs with you! I will be uploading these in the next week or so. I would really love to hear your feedback as to what you think of the bracelets. I will also be able to customise the bracelet to how you want it, via letters, charms or colour. This will take a little longer, but I'm sure you'd appreciate it!

So go check out the shop and let me know what you think!

Thanks so much.

My first OOTD...

Here's my first 'Outfit Of The Day'. I threw this together to go for a meal with my mum and a spot of shopping, where I picked up some goodies for my room ready for university, which I'll be doing a post on very soon!

+ Jumper - Zara Sale £9.99
+ Jeans - Zara Skinny Jeans £39.99
+Boots - Topshop Mighty £45
+Satchel - Accessorize Sales £15
+Jewellery - Pandora silver and zirconia ring
- Links of london xs sweetie bracelet
- Swarovski crystal tennis bracelet

Here are my Topshop Mighty boots. These are the new models of the Topshop Allegra boots which I unfortunately missed out on! These boots are soo comfortable. I'm normally a lover of knee high boots and long necklaces but recently I've been loving ankle boots and short chocker necklaces!

I love this satchel, it is sooo pretty with all the detail! I bought this in the sale about a year ago at accessorize. Luckily it goes perfect with my new boots!

Now I didn't wear this in the post, but it would have looked great! I've been looking for the perfect short necklace and I came across this in the sale at 'Folli Follie' in Cardiff. What a bargain, £26 to £15! I love it, and it goes perfect with my everyday Links and Swarovski bracelets. It's basically a bunch of silver leaves in three tiers, hanging from a thick chain.

Have you found any pretty short necklaces? Do you prefer the Mighty boots or Allegra?

Little Gems...

I received this gorgeous little parcel in the post recently from Wavy Handmade Jewellery. I was only expecting the Jewellery I'd ordered in some ordinary brown paper packaging, but I opened it and found this beautifully presented parcel. They obviously pay great detail to each and every order processed by recording the persons name and getting it printed. It made my purchase so personal. I love it.

So after wanting everything from the site, I decided on this little gem.. for only £3.50!?

I fell in love with this handmade necklace the moment I set eyes on it! It's been in my 'cart' for a while until I finally decided to purchase! The necklace has a long silver chain that falls just past my bust, which I believe is the perfect length. There was also a shorter length chain available to choose from.

How beautiful is this!? The Pendent is a turquoise stone with dark blue veins running through, neatly wrapped and held with silver. I also ordered the 'Tibetan Silver Skull Bead Bracelet' after seeing it on my friend's blog 'A Subtle Difference'. However, the item was out of stock, but Kate kindly gave a hand written note within the parcel including a free shipping code for my next purchase.

This again gave that lovely personal touch. Kate has also offered to email me to let me know when the bracelet is in stock so I can re-order the item.

So when I seen this necklace, I also seen the versatility for swapping pendants! Above I have a Swarovski crystal cross that I bought in San Fransisco and a mother of pearl cross that I bought from a crystal stall in a market. Both these necklaces came with short silver chains, so it would be great to add to this new chain. Kate also sells a similar necklace called the 'Small Cross Necklace'.

The silver chain provided allows you to simply take off the pendent and use another, which I love!! Maybe it would be a great idea if they decided to sell the pendants individually with the option of adding a chain!!

Have you ordered any items from Wavy Jewellery? What did you think?
