Bronze beauty

So heres the 'Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24Hr eyeshadow' in 'and on Bronze' , which I am sure that you've all heard lots about! I bought this for £4.99 from Boots a few weeks back. Now I love this eyeshadow range, But I would love to see more colours available, as there were only six to choose from. The 'Eternal Gold' would be another one I'd advise to take a look at!

*3 for 2 on Maybelline products in Boots at the moment*

I was looking for a quick and easy eye product so suit my skin tone and hair colour. I have long light brown hair with tanned skin. I love the bronze goddess look. Not that I'm a goddess, But still! I really don't get on with eyeshadows, I find it makes me look over done and too much! But this gives a nice natural bronze glow!

So here you can see that the bronze eyeshadow also has a nice shimmer to it, which also highlights and illuminates! The eyeshadow is really creamy and easy to apply. I've used this to cover my whole lid for just a quick and easy look, but I've also used it as a cream base to apply powder eyeshadow on top, creating a bronze smoky eye. Either look usually lasts all day, however with this gorgeous weather, I've found that the cream eyeshadow alone slowly comes off throughout the day.

I really love this product and its definitely my new 'Go to' eye product.
Have you tried any of the Colour Tattoo eyeshadows? What did you think?

The Angel

At the end of May, My family and I went to have lunch at 'The Angel' in Abergavenny, which is known for it's award winning tea.

The building had a pretty, yet grand feel to the outside with the white pillars and large white windows. Outside there was a lovely little chalkboard with advertisements on how wonderful their tea and cakes were!

The table was layed beautifully with pretty china plates and tea cups.

I loved the gold edging rose china tea cups! They were so delicate and sweet.

Doesn't it look Yummy!

We had a generous selection of sanwhiches, cakes and teas, layered beautifully on this 3 tier china server.

+ At the top, We had warm scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.

+ In the middle we had a selection of deserts.

+ At the bottom we had a variety of sliced sandwhiches.

- Smoked salmon

- Cream cheese and cucumber

- Home-cooked ham
- Egg mayonnaise with cress

The food was soo delicately made and very very tasty!

Have you been to the Angel? I certainly advise that you pop in there! It's a gorgeous experience, situated in a pretty little village with lots of cute shops!

I also have to apologise for the lack of posts recently. However, Im sitting my last A level exam tomorrow so you'll be seeing a lot more posts from now on! I may have been a bad blogger recently but I was certainly a shopaholic! So lots of new things to share with you! See you soon

The Harrods Edition

So I received by special edition Harrod's Glossybox last week.

For those of you who don't know much about the Glossybox, It is a monthly subscription of £12.95, including postage. For that small price you get a beautiful box containing 5 samples of popular products. The idea is great for beauty lovers who want to try the new products but don't want to purchase the full product before they know it's the right product for them.

I was sooo disappointed with the previous glossybox. But they definitely made up for it in this months box. I loved the white and black box, looked really sophisticated and the green Harrods ribbon gave it a nice splash of colour. But what's in the box is more important!
So Here's what I got....

From left to right -

+ Bliss - Blood Orange and White Pepper Body Butter
+ Lancome - Juicy Tubes - Toffee R 'N' B 93
+ Revive- Intensive Creme Lustre SPF30
+ Versace - Vanitas Versace Eau De Parfum
+ Clarins - Extra - Firming Body Cream

I was pleased with each product in this month's box, However my favourite product was the Vanitas Versace Eau De Parfum. What a beautiful little sample.

It is described as 'A luxurious scent from the House of Versace. Vanitas is a rich and voluptuous fragrance with notes of tiare flower, lime and freesia.'

I absolutely love this scent and the gorgeous sample bottle just makes it even nicer. I will definitely be purchasing the full product soon!

What did you get in your Glossybox? Did you get this perfume too? What were your thoughts on this product?
